“I think I can…  I think I can…”

-6  major rounds (4 meds: “TCHP”) of chemo down….check!

-double mastectomy and phase 1 of reconstruction done… check!

-2/3 of my radiation done…check!

-a few more weeks of daily radiation to go

-Monthly targeted chemo (Herceptin) continuing for rest of the year (next one is this Tuesday,  (plan to finish in august)

-Hopefully just 2 more surgeries this year…. deep breath

-Oral chemo continuing for next few years as soon as Infusions end (…We can do this!)

If you’d told me this before, I’d have said,”No way!”  I wouldn’t have known how I could do anything like this.  But my whole family of little ones…

we’re all kinda like “The little engine that could.”

Either that, or, more appropriately,  my house feels more like this..
